Some of my favourites from Ikea

Witham is a very nice town near Chelmsford and Braintree, I like to go to The Grove and do some shopping, I use to visit the Works to find books for good price and sometimes I stop at Costa to drink a hot chocolate or have a smoothie in the summer.

Those photos are from the park, there is a lake and so many trees, it is a very pleasant place to walk and have a chat with friends, you can also take the kids, they will love to ride their bikes or go to see the ducks coming around looking for food.

If you want to have dinner look for Prezzo, you will find it at high street!

Five stops later we arrived to Leicester Square, I was undecided: what's first? Chinatown or M&M's World? We went to M&M's first, we bought some chocolates, made some photos with that amazing colors around, it is always funny!

Then we went to Soho, a favourite place too, look for some stores and Chinatown and we came back to Piccadilly Circus and we decided to go to Hamleys to see the toys.

Dinner time so we went to eat sushi because after we would like to go to London Eye. We caught the tube again and stopped at Waterloo station. I had never been to Waterloo and I liked a lot, it's big, very near to London Eye and it has a special light on sunny days.

London Eye is special and we liked to see the Thames and the Big Ben from another perspective, make some photos and try different lights with our new camera.

Time was running out and we had to caught the train back home, we walk through the Westminster bridge to the other side of Thames and we went to Trafalgar Square to catch the bus to Liverpool Street.

The day ended but the sunset hadn't arrive until we left.

I love London since I saw, many years ago at school, a video showing the Trooping the Colour, the guard, the palace, royal family and some London places.

This month, again, we decided to go to London and see known places and new ones too. We arrived at Liverpool Street and we walked to Florin Court, I wanted to go there for so long!! I just love Poirot. Sacre Coeur!! Mon Dieu le Florin Court is so different from telly!! it's a little bit old, the street is not as long as it seems and in front you have a square garden, but it was magic after so many years watching the famous building on tv.

 

After that we caught the tube to Camden Town, it's one of my favorite places in the world ! Pleasant, calm and exquisite, we didn't bought many things, just a scarf and a throw to take to the beach and  enjoy the sun.

 

The market was full of people, we made some photos, we had lunch and so we decided to go to Primrose Hill, it is near and we went through the canal, it's a lovely walk!

When we arrived to Primrose Hill I was surprised it is so big!! And it has a huge hill but there you can enjoy a fantastic view to the London skyline: you can see the shard, the gherkin, London eye and the walkie talkie.

 

 We walked through the neighborhood and we caught the tube at Chalk Farm to Leicester Square.

I took this photo, three years ago, from the second floor of a bus, it's one of my favorites!

I'm very keen to go to The Shard, someday, to check the view. Tthe Gherkin, so beautiful at night, is a exquisite building I think it is very original and finally St Paul's Cathedral so imposing! cutting the skyline with a tone of white.

Amazing: the old and the new in our beloved London.

Yellow is such a powerful colour with a little bit of green looks marvellous and bright.

Blue stills my favourite all the time, I think I'll never be bored of it, this picture is from Grace and Frankie series set.

Books always have to come around, so welcoming.
